Continuous on-board logging, how to? (Elite)
Today I'm setting up the onboard logging on my Elite 2000. What I'm finding is that once the log reaches its size limit, it stops logging until you manually clear it.
What I'd like from the onboard logging system is for it to act as sort of a "black box" so that if something acts up and I'm not purposefully logging with my PC attached, I'll be able to retrieve the onboard log and assess. To do this, I'd need the log to either, clear itself when full (maybe at the start of a drive) or record in a circular format, overwriting the old data in a loop.
Is there any way to set up the system to do what I'm asking? Maybe I'm missing the intended purpose of this feature...
