closed loop boost tuning
a few guys (including myself) have been asking about this and i haven't found any real answers on it yet.
so i hooked it up today.
the haltech solonoid has 3 ports and didn't come with instructions. the only way i could get it to do anything was with port 3 as the boost reference and port 1 going to the top of the wastegate. port 2 is vented. it may be hooked up wrong, but it works...kinda if anyone knows the correct way to hook that solonoid up and i'm wrong, just let me know. i have no pride.
so i pass up my boost target by about 1 psi, dip to 2 psi under, then it goes back up and holds steady. i'll play around with the target duty cycle and see if that helps smooth it out.
so technically, it does work. i'm just not sure how great yet.
