Exclamation Car runs when injectors are off!

to make a long story short, I bought a reman. engine, turned on the car to try to tune idle. I used my old map i had for my old engine for reference. the old engine was ported and this one is not. anywho, the car idles really rough and tuning all thle fuel maps got me nowhere. I i turned off the injectors from the laptop and the car was still running! I later unplugged the injector harness going into the injectors, took out the fuel pump fuse, and the car was STILL running... it ran for a good 10 mins. and probably would have ran longer but i turned it off. my question is how is this happening? the FPR shows 0 psi of fuel and all fuel is turned off. any help would be greatly appreciated

The thing ran for 10 mins with all fuel hardware disconnected or unpowered??

Odd... i would've said that the injectors are leaking big time, but if there was NO fuel pressure then i have no idea what gives.
