bac valve= vacuum leak?

right now im runnin open greddy compression tube. i have the bac as a pwm 2 disabled. i have a bolt in the rubber hose coming out of it, when i pull out bolt it sucks in air and car stalls. y?

i kept mine plugged and turned on the zero throttle MAP....

i have zero throttlemap on. its idling at bout 850-1000 rpms.

with all lights on, stereo, heater and E-fan it wont stall out....im thinking i just might ditch mine....

I think it depends on how you got the screw adjusted on the BAC valve...
Either that or it's stuck open?

good point TED i never adjusted the screw,
also when i give power to the valve with my power probe i can hear the solenoid inside clicking so i dont think its stuck.

wow u were right ted, it was open to far i guess. i closed it back up via the screw till it wasnt sucking.
now i open it enough where it does suck alittle bit.
how can i get it to raise my idle bout 1500rpms when cold and drop as it warms up?

Yeah, I've been messing around with my BAC valve and E8 set-up recently, and I've found that you can adjust the screw too far for it to not close all the way. :P

I can't get the E8 to consistently hold idle, and I think it's a problem with the E8 programming at this point.

You just gotta play with all the parameters on the idle control...

Forgot if you had an E8 or E6X?

im using e6k. should i leave it completely closed or just slightly open?
