2 plugs at the beginning of the E6K harness

What do these two plugs go to? Optional sensors or manditory? I bought a used kit.

One is the O2 sensor, and the other is the TPS. I would recommend using both of them...

thanks, I thought one in the picture looked like an o2, but the harness seemed real short.

My kit came with neither, but I have a S5 so I shouldn't have to worry about the TPS. Can I use a factory O2?

Yes you can use the factory O2. Refer to the Haltech manual for proper wiring.

That pic is from a link on BDC's site to a rotary triumph. I used it compare what I had when I was looking at mine. I picked it up for a very good deal, but it was supposed to be complete and me only needed to wire the CAS and Coils. When I opened the box, it was all hacked up. Oh well.

Pardon my intrution, i feel like being the ***^%$# tonight, but i would recommend you download the E6K Manual from the Haltech site (as well as the wiring diagram), and read through it carefully cover to cover and go through all the details. If you would've done so, you would've known that those 2 sensors where the TPS and the O2 sensor. The fact that they are "connectorless" in the harness its because its a Flying Lead Harness, all wires are loose and unterminated, and if you want to have the matching counterpart connectors you need to purchase a connecotr kit from Haltech or your local dealer.

PS. Ive had a few drinks tonight so dont hold this against me in the morning.

its cool Im drunk too. Hey, its teh weekend

Yeah, I downloaded the manual after I made the thread. I was bummed out early after knowing I was gonna spend my weekend soldering the harness. I just want to see my car running. My goal is 400hp after all is said and done. I', scared to put more than 1 bar through a rotary. 17 years on an engine and who knows how after the previous owners took care of oil changes and what not. Its a rebuild with a street port, but its been sitting for a year. I've dumped so much money into this car so far and now I need another 2K for a GT35r and a downpipe. For now I'm gonna get it running with a stock na manifold, because I still need to break my engine in.
