13B-REW/20B fuel temp sensor to Haltech

I want to monitor my fuel temps in Haltech PS2000, i have stock 20B rail which uses that sensor, but its 2 wire sensor and i will need to convert it to 3 wire setup.....

Anyone knows specs of this sensor (ie, somebody wired either FD or Cosmo fuel temp sensor to Haltech already?)

Why would you convert to a 3 wire sensor, aren't to many 3 wire temp sensors I know of. You should be able to use the stock sensor if you can either characterize it or find a resistance curve for it. Could always try a GM coolant sensor if you can make a manifold for it.

To my knowledge, only thing i can hookup to AVI (Analog Voltage Inputs) on Haltech is 0-5V input. I dont see other wire to connect fuel temp sensor (or oil temp/oil pressure) than AVI.

And AVI needs to be 3 wire (ground/5V supply and voltage signal...)

Correct me if i am wrong....

It does not need a 3 wire. The AVI's really only need a voltage. The easiest way to do this is to create a pull up circuit using a 5 volt source voltage and a resistor in the middle of the range of the sensor.

Can i use stock FD water temp sensor in fuel rail for measuring fuel temp?
Of course, have to draw a calibration for it, but otherwise any problem using water temp sensor for fuel temp?

I'd use a normal Bosch NTC type (or smaller) as then you know the calibration, and they aren't expensive. Coolant temp will be fine: can measure fuel temp, oil temp whatever.
