Exclamation Update!

Hi all,
Got the spacers back from anodize, got additional mount bodies, and got the bronze bushings in. Here's a pic of the spacers and Widefoot mounts.

So those waiting for just mounts and spacers, your orders will ship this Friday or Saturday, I'll send out confirmations and tracking info after getting back from the PO.

Bronze Mounts machining starts Saturday, will get the parts to anodize as soon as I can. End is near...

Thanks,
David

Exclamation Update

$lacker and Narfle,
Thanks for the kind words (or "word" in $lacker's case ).

I'm trying to pin down the polymer bushings for the Bronze Bushing Mounts, hope to have that done today. Will let people know as soon as the BBM housings go off for anodize.

Thanks,
David

Update

Hi all waiting for the Bronze Mounts:

I finally found what I hope will be the isolator rubber for the bronze bushings inside the mount. I'll be testing it today (Saturday), if it works I'll be making up bushing to go into the brackets. More this weekend...

" The last update I left talked about the isolation rubber for the bushings, and I should have followed up with
a "it didn't work" note. I've got different material coming in this week that should work the way I want, as soon as
it's in and I can confirm its suitability I will post again. I want to get these darn things done ASAP, but I've got to do
it in a way that works and is reliable - the last thing I want is to send out product that fails... " -David

David.....Regarding the BBM's, just thought that on my order I did not advise that we have a 32mm diameter TriPoint bar and want to confirm fitment.

Exclamation Belated Update from Widefoot

Hi all,
Happy New Year, and all that. I'd gone through some choices for the polymer isolator bushing that cushions the bronze bearing (required to prevent binding of the swaybar under load), but did not find something acceptable until recently. I've just finishing (Thursday night) cutting enough for the requested kits, and now have the final parts defined. I'm working on the rest of the parts exclusively this week and next, and will have pictures of the un-anodized parts by the 23rd of January. The batches will go out for anodize, come back for assembly, then shipping by the end of this month.

I owe folks for their patience, there will be a rebate on the cost for the mounts and bronze adapters. Also, anyone who wants the mounts alone ASAP, please EMAIL me (at my widefoot [the usual symbol] comcast [the usual dot] net). Email is best as it allows better tracking. I will ship out mounts and plain spacers, then follow up with the bronze adapters on my dime when they're ready.

I will get to the waiting PM's, but they'll be slower to be answered than emails.

Thanks guys, and please know that things are happening...

David

Woohoo and don't bother with a rebate for me, you said it may take some time and it's not next season yet so I'm not sweating it.

Thanks!

Thumbs up

David,

Thanks for the update! I too do NOT want a rebate. I am thankful that you are taking on this project and am ok with the wait.

Tried emailing last week with no response. Don't think David would take off with people's money but it'd be nice to have an update.

I also tried emailing David but have not received a response. Has anyone else heard from him? I also noticed he has not been on the forum since his last post on this thread.

I think we can write this off as a loss.
