Widefoot Sway-bar mounts

2 Attachment(s)
Hello All,

I've been hounding David to make me a set of sway-bar mounts for my tri-point engineering sway bar, and he has agreed to start another manufacturing run. I'm not sure what it cost him to setup tooling, but he's set on only producing 12 sets.

There are already some people who who he promised some to via email, but let's see how many we can get. First come first serve if we can get enough interest, we'll have to knock off anyone at the bottom of the list if he can't meet production goals.

Pricing:
$310 (billet 6061 Mounts)
$200 (bronze bushing for tri-point bar)

For the guys running the tri-Point sway-bar.

'ringmeister 03-05-14 12:53 PM

will these work with oem-style bars?

Spalato 03-05-14 01:10 PM

The sway bar mounts will work with any sway bar....or at least they should.

Its the actual brackets that connect to the mounts that can be different...or better said...maid specific for a certain bar ...i.e. the above pictured tri-point...

Maybe iIm wrong...dunno

Blackadde/// 03-05-14 01:26 PM

You are correct.

Mazderati 03-05-14 01:27 PM

Have a set of Widefoot mounts circa 2002. Do you know if the Tripoint bushing work on a mount from this era?

If so, I'll take one mount and two bushings. If not, I'll take one mount and one bushing.

Thanks for putting this together.

Interested with a few questions.

1. The attached pictures are labeled Ver2 and Ver1, respectively. I have a set of Widefoot mounts circa 2002. Was anything changed since that time? If not, I'll take a set of

I remember David made a spacer for people who wanted the stock mount location. Mine work great as is, but do you remember what that was about?

The mounts will include the radiator mount bracket, right?

Mazderati, see quoted text below.

Good to know. Thanks.

If we can confirm the mounts a) come with radiator brackets and b) the bushings fit mounts made circa 2002, I'm in for one set of mounts and two sets of bushings.

man... this is a tough one.
I'm not sure if I would want to wait for a set of these, or go for the super-now/feed mounts.
i know the widefoot mounts are pretty much indestructible, but I've also never heard of anyone breaking one of the super-now/feed style mounts either, and they can be had within a week from japan for $120 shipped.
does the $310 price include shipping at least?

Narfle 03-06-14 05:18 PM

Do the mounts include spacers?

Ceylon 03-07-14 02:53 AM

Look much stronger than the Super Now ones I've got, nice mounts :icon_tup:.

Does anyone have a pic of the tri point bar installed with the wide foot mounts?

TriPoint bar w/Billet Widefoot

3 Attachment(s)
FWIW a couple images of my TriPoint bar with Widefoot mounts and a RB swaybar brace. I'm an original buyer from Dave from way way back.
I've been running this setup for well over a decade (street and track) It's indestructible.

How much does it raise the tri-point bar over normal? I'm interested... my tri point bar is by far the lowest point of my car.

It doesn't really raise it much it any. Note I had to flip the bolts over (nut pointing up) on my sway bar ends to get a little extra clearance. you can see the beveled end of the bolt in the pics from bottoming out a couple times.

FWIW,
Crispy
