I'm not sure if there's enough interest to split the threads at this point... we can post a new thread in a day or so but we've worked out the best pricing we can get and are in full swing for the Track Day kit production run. We've got the base kit price down to $1295!!! It's never going to be this low again. Ask questions if you're on the fence because bang for buck performance wise, this kit will be impossible to beat.

Is there a larger size option for those that want to stuff the max possible amount of brakes in an 18 wheel? The wheel I have has 435mm inner barrel clearance. 360mm min with possibility of 380mm .

Wont let me add onto my post but if your rears are 320mmx20mm and your fronts are less than that.... So I hope you offer way bigger fronts.

The fronts are 325x32 and the rears are 330x32. That is the proper size for the pistons in the front caliper. Yes it is 5mm larger overall, 2.5mm diameter larger.

If you're looking for brakes to stuff into 18's to "look big" we have just the solution for you. We've been working on what we're calling the "monster brake kit" which is unreasonably large, intended for cars pushing 750+ HP and is a 4 wheel AP kit which costs $7000+. The 325's will do quite well, I wouldn't personally pay an extra 6500 for "looks", and anything larger than our Track day kit or competition AP kit is not needed for most cars.

Im liking the wilwood setup a lot but id like a matching setup for the rear.
Any chance wilwood forged superlight setup for the rear and use their
standalone parking brake?

Or even using their combination rear brake/ebrake that they sell for a matching setup?

Will this kit retain the parking brake? As in using 4-6 pot fronts + 2-4 pot rears and an independent park brake?
If so that is exactly what I'm after.
Id be in line for a setup like that using either ap or wilwood calipers

We've talked about it, and have have mocked it up on the car. The numbers and fitment works, the issue is, currently we do not have an E-brake solution. We've got the wilwood Ebrake single position caliper here and it's no better than stock. The cost of the standalone parking brake is not realistic, and we wouldn't sell enough to make it worth production.

So the short answer is, yes we can do it with the caveat being, you will have to sacrifice your E-brake (at least for now). Cost would be roughly the same as the wilwood front kit and would use the same 330x32 rotor that we are currently using. If there's interest in this please sign up in a separate numbered list. Performance wise, it will be very close to the current competition kit, but I agree it does have the looks factor going for it.

Shoot us an email info@sakebombgarage.com (ask for Heath). Not joking about the secret monster kit, or the cost. We're building just 5 sets of these for SEMA cars and some really crazy FD builds. I'll flat out say, for 99% of people this is complete overkill and I fully endorse our 325 AP and Wilwood kits to take as much abuse as you can throw at it. The "monster kit" is not publicly available and is part of a small skunk-works sort of side project thing a couple of us here at SBG have been doing after hours, when it's quiet and everyone else goes home. We've got some pretty advanced suspension stuff going on, and a few other internal projects well...

...and now back to our regularly scheduled programming

Is this their MC4 mechanical caliper youre talking about ? Or are you talking about their single piston combination caliper which is basically stock equivalent?
They also sell the powerlite caliper with an ebrake cable attachment.

I know revo japan sells a brembo mechanical ebrake that goes wity their 4 pot ap racing rears but it's way to expensive

The advantage is wilwoods calipers are all relatively inexpensive the main cost would be some r&d to fab the brackets necessary to mount one of these calipers.

I would seriously be in on a front/rear setup forged superlites with an mc4 mechanical ebrake.

Hopefully this will come to fruition one day soon.

I'll also throw it out there, that even if braking remains the same (or a tad better) then stock. It *would* be nice to run an aesthetically matching rear caliper.

...and for that I like the Wilwood Combination Caliper:

They seem to be a good match for the existing rear rotors.

This thread is for the STREET KIT and TRACK DAY kits only, and will be splitting into two threads shortly.

The Track Day kits are ***Currently In Production*** and we've got 8 confirmed orders so far. We'll need to release an official thread for them but looks like we might sell out of pre-orders even before we get an official pre-order thread up at this rate
