SakeBomb Garage - Recaro Pole Position Seat Kit with Rails (Race version of RZ Seats)
Hey you guys, we're checking to see how many people would be interested in the Recaro Pole Position Seats (very similar to the RZ seats but not-unobtanium, more affordable, stiffer, and race certified). As far as looks go, they are extremely similar to the infamous RZ/Spirit R Seats from Japan, but safer and track worthy.
This would be a group buy for:
-1 or 2 Recaro Pole Position seats (different covers available... black velour standard, red available custom order, as well as some other cover options we're looking into)
-Slider Rails (low profile)
-Custom low profile mounting brackets
Let us know if you'd be interested in seeing something like this come to life. We also have talked about an optional (custom) Schroth Harness Kit available as well. Add your names to a list if you're interested... if there's enough volume we'll move this along. We've got prototype parts in the works now

Are we talking ABE or FIA version? I would definitely be interested to know there would be any fitment issues with the ABE. If you can make ABE Velour Red Cloth w/ White Logo's happen at a good price, I could be interested.

I'd take a set.
If centered behind the steering wheel they will absolutely hit the door panel.
So you will have to fit the rails a little closer to the trans tunnel which won't look or feel any different. Probably about 10mm.

Curious to know how well factory seat belt buckles work with these, I know Recaro makes FD-specific buckles for some seats. The first picture seems to put them very high up instead of wrapping around you.
