I second this as shipping the mounting kit overseas to me would be much cheaper than shipping two large car seats, and the worst thing is the customs duty...they would charge me so much for those recaro pole positions seats that I might as well just buy a set of used RZ/RS seats. On the otherhand the mounting kit would slide through the customs office unnoticed But either way I totally support SBG for this idea!

cant wait to get some pole in jersey red...

i have the pole position in my s2k and they are much more supportive and keep you in place as to the rz seat. the the side is low which makes getting in and out a lot easier compared to regular bucket seats.

Just confirmed jersey IS available

Got any pics of your S2k install? Shoot us an email info@sakebombgarage.com (we had a S2k owner ask about these last week when they saw the demo seat in our showroom, when they were coming to pick up our AP Competition BBK, and RX8 rear caliper relocation / vented rear brake setup). We'd love to see how they fit... in the S we seem to hit door cars no matter what.

Thanks!

Any chance that seat has some kinda loop to keep the seat belt attached to it so I dont have to reach back and fish for it every other time?

Are these going to be 36-38 waist friendly? Also, will they mount to the spirit-r/rz seat rails? :p

Interested in waist size and height allowance from these seats... if I’ll fit I’d buy. 👍

Lets clarify something...

The picture posted of the red FD with the PP's is my FD with my own custom sliding rails which sits too high imo. I am 5'9. I had emailed the picture to inquire if SBG could fab a rail sitting the seat lower. Never heard back after 2 emails only to see this thread.

Pretty cool, with the OE Recaros becoming harder to source and more expensive that's a good idea .

A tilting side mount rail wouldn't be too hard to fabricate either.

Armen,
Remember we started this thread because you were interested in a lower setup? That's literally the reason we started this thread. We responded to your email saying we've started a thread and sent you the link. Maybe it ended up in your junk mail?

You are correct!
I had two unread emails in my junkmail from you guys. Apologies.

Im 100% in on a lower setup! I honestly dont know if a sliding vs fixed setup will make a difference in seat height. For me the restriction was the rear belly of the seat clearing the rails and the actually floorpan.
