Is the plastic cover itself different?

I ditched all of my interior leather for charcoal alcantara, but if a cover the was ready to be covered (?!) were available, or you could do it in the material I want, I'd be in to it. I have your regular cover, anmd it's an excellent piece, and I'll never forget the fact that it was packaged with free bubble gum. :-)

Thank you! Yes, I was skeptical at first but I think it blends in very well-- As per request (don't judge my moldy door, I took it out of a friends car lol)

It's a modified cover, The "tab" where you put your finger to lift the lid is eliminated and some sanding is required to compensate for the Leather material. I wouldn't mind wrapping it in another material if it was provided, my only concern is I'd have to see the material first and test its properties. If the fabric doesn't have any "stretch" to it, it will show more wrinkles and the corners will not be as clean. This is my second lid I've wrapped and I'd say the upholstery is about an 8/10 right now, compared to my first one, the corner are night and day (in regards of the seams)
