New Product: High Torque 2KW Starter for 93+ RX-7

The High Torque 2KW starter greatly increases the cranking RPM for much faster starting. Perfect for heavily modified engines (20B, 3mm seal, Bridgeport, etc) that are slow to fire up during cranking due to the additional mass or sealing characteristics of aftermarket apex seals. Additionally, engines with low compression or hot start/flooding issues benefit from this starters much faster RPM.

The original FD starter is rated at 1.2KW (1.61HP), the 2KW (2.68HP) is a 40% increase in starter cranking power. Depending on battery CCA and health the cranking speed will increase by as much as 100RPM.

Starters are built from all new parts, with exception to the FD gear housings, which are from core starters. Every starter is tested prior to leaving our facility.

Manual Transmission Only.

Refundable Core Charge once we receive a Manual Trans FD starter, that has an undamaged gear housing (nose).

High Torque 2KW Starter (93+ RX-7)

Method of core refund

Nice product! Do we just send in our core (after purchasing)? Do we have to reference an order number or anything?

Respectfully,

Charlie

So you're taking an Auto FC starter tail housing and putting it on an FD gear housing? Or are FD auto starters also 2kW and you're just using that tail housing?

Neither.

We are building the starters from all new components sourced from brand new RX-8 starters
