These lights will not be shipping in the next two weeks. Custom components need to be ordered in advance, and we're only ordering enough to fill the quantity of kits desired for this particular group buy. In the past we have taken 1/2 deposits however we have had issues with large numbers of customers dragging their feet for the second half of the deposit, well past the GB end. We now require payment in full for all group buy orders, however for extenuating circumstances please shoot us a PM and we'll see if we can accommodate you. If we bring back the deposits, we may implement some sort of surcharge for payments arriving past the deadline - to ensure final payments come in on time... we haven't decided how to best handle deposits.

Currently we have no stock of headlight housings or electronic components, and all parts are custom manufactured to our specification. There is a lead time of 4-6 weeks for components, and assembly (however we can begin assembly before the electronic components arrive so there should not be too much overlap). Please remember these lights are hand crafted and are not off the shelf parts... many modifications and processes are used to complete each kit with many many hours of labor in each set.

Also, is it safe to assume that we'll get the lights to our door by early November?

 

Must I still pay tax even if I do not live in california?

Yes, we need a MINIMUM of 10 people committed to produce a run of headlights. If we do not reach 10 paid spots we will refund payments if GB members do not want to wait any longer. We typically do 20-30 kit runs. It's not feasible to build them a few at a time because of the steps involved in the process (they really need to be done production line style as there are around a hundred detailed steps in building each set). I will PM everyone on the list now letting them know the GB is open.

Also sorry to everyone about the website being down. We are trying to get it back up and running with the new build but unfortunately since we're switching servers everything is completely down. For now we can only process payments manually until it's back up. We're hoping for next week and are working on it now.
