I just received an email from SBG saying I created an account on their site (which I'm assuming was them creating an account for me).

I logged in to see my lights in the order bin...

Not sure if this means they're ready or what... would love a confirmation from SBG.

I saw that too, but I was hesitant to do anything with that email...looked suspicious as I didn't register. I too look forward to a response.

Sorry for the confusion with the new account emails. Basically you paid directly through paypal instead of going through the website, so I had to manually enter each order which in turn created a login for you This will also allow you to track your order easier. The majority of you are all paid up with the exception of a few deposits and people who owe additional for international shipping.

As for updates. We are still recovering from the flood as it's taking longer than expected with insurance among other things. We feel terrible this is taking so long to get you your products For the extended wait time we will be including coupon codes towards future purchases.

Ah that makes sense now. I appreciate what you guys do for us as a community. I also am thankful to have an opportunity to get on this group buy and save some money.

I completely understand that the wait time is a part of a big order list such as this...and I also know what it feels like to deal with companies that promise to ship parts out....only to be told a different date (the company that you guys were waiting on). Couple that with an unexpected flood, (Thank goodness that the parts were spared) and you have another delay that I completely understand.

I am by no means upset with the wait time to be honest. I think what was getting both myself and other members worried was a slight lack of communication. I have been a part of some bad group buys were that was the first indication of a big problem. Good communication will definitely put my mind at ease through this group buy for sure.

I appreciate the offer of coupon codes. I have been looking at your passenger foot rests for a while....I am definitely going to get one of those. Thanks again!

Nothing to be worried about. It's a legit email. I logged into the page and it had my specific info including the fact that I've only put down a deposit on my lights currently.

Hopefully the guys at SBG will update us soon.

Not to be the one that sounds like an ******* here, are we looking at the eta of February or possibly march?

I'm asking because I've left for a sabbatical and there is no one at my home/shipping address.

We'll let you know before they're ready to ship. If you're out of the country we'll hang on to them until you return We're hoping to have them out by the end of this month.

During the extended wait time (See: Unexpected and unfortunate event earlier in this thread) I have since decided I would like to go a different route with my lights and have pm'd about a refund. The constant updates and info has been much appreciated but maybe someone else here can pay the group buy price that wanted to get on the list but couldn't (Save $100!) and take my spot, and then I can be refunded? I have pm'd you via the forum and website. A response would be great thanks.

We've got not problems with customers selling group buy spots however that transaction needs to be facilitated on your own. All we need is a message from the original purchaser with the new shipping address/name/email . Just shoot us a PM with a change of address after you have successfully received payment from your buyer and we'll happily update the shipping info. Thanks, Heath

To everyone else thank you for bearing with us. Our company has been set back significantly with the recent events however we're working on finishing packing of all these orders... All of our shipping supplies and workshop space were rendered unusable and it's taking much longer than expected to manage everything off-site and replace everything lost.

We'll be shipping as many as we can this week, the rest will go out next week. I'll get some pics up shortly. We realize this has been an extraordinary wait for you guys with the problem after problem that came up for us over the last few months and we haven't heard a negative word yet. It's just a testament to the great community we belong to and we really appreciate you guys sticking by us and supporting our small company.

Your kindness and extended patience will not go uncompensated however and we'll be offering discounted pricing on our other products to members of this GB. We might do it on a part by part basis, or simply an across-the-board private coupon code for X% off. We're open to suggestions.

Again thank you guys for your immense patience, we hope you'll be more than satisfied once you get these kits installed in your cars.

Thanks again,
Heath
