CoolantLeak: I just spoke with our manufacturer for the electronic components (that's all we're waiting on at this point) and they are behind schedule. From what they've told me 2 more weeks for us to get them. At this point we're just waiting on our electronics. Since the FD specific components are custom manufactured for us to our specs in small runs, we're not a huge priority for them, but they're aware that people are waiting on them and told me they are doing their best to finish/ship as soon as possible.

Any last minute headlight sales from the Black Friday sale will get lumped in with the build for this GB, so there's still a couple weeks left before they will ship, but after this weekend they'll be unavailable on the site.

should we expect the lights to come in soon?

I lost my R1 front lip on thanksgiving night. I drove into an unfamiliar street at night that had a nasty dip and pow!

 

Looks like it's time for us to do a group buy for Carbon Fiber R1 front lips? lolz

 

LOL. I might buy one if it's reasonably priced. But I would have to have these headlights installed before I lose another front lip.

 

We're still waiting for the components to come in from our manufacturer. It was supposed to be done weeks ago, but unfortunately they're dragging their feet. Supposedly it should be here in the next two weeks, we're trying our best to hold them to that. As soon as they come in your lights will go out.

Well I have good news and bad news. The good news is all the ballasts arrived today. The bad news is that harnesses did not. This means your lights will unfortunately not ship 'till we return from the holiday break. Sorry for the bad news everyone, the timing just didn't work in our favor... We wanted to get these out for Christmas.

Update:

Just an update for everyone as I'm sure people are curious. Our shop is located on a flood plain which hasn't been an issue in the past. Sunday there was a heavy rain storm in the mountains resulting in flash flood conditions. The shop was flooded with about 2 feet of water but fortunately no parts/headlights were damaged as they were being stored on work benches that were higher. We've been cleaning mud/water up since and haven't had a chance to answer any emails/PMs until now.

Sorry again for the delays guys and we'll be back to production shortly. We've been working non stop to get the shop cleaned up. Fortunately we have had an abundance of assistance from friends/family otherwise we'd be cleaning for weeks! We'll have a better idea of when we'll be shipping next week.
