FD Aluminum INTERIOR Door Handle ! (Back!)

Hey guys, Jeremy "RotorMotor2" from Larson's Rotary Performance (LRP) asked me to post for him. His account and the door handle thread were deleted because of some kind of screw up by internet brands (the owners of the forums). Also he was not happy with the original sand cast aluminum door handle so he is going to be remaking it with a 3D laser scanner and in general rethinking some of the manufacturing to make sure the part is the highest quality possible. But the handle WILL still be made for certain, just the issue with the forums has to be worked out and it's taking longer than originally hoped, to make the part.

At this point I think we'll have to say "they'll be done when they're done" because the plan is to make them as high quality as possible, which involves taking as much time as needed. However as a very rough timeline I do not think this project will take as long as a year.

Well I had to create A brand new account on here and SOO far all that Internet brands is currently able to do about my account or ANY of my old posts OR threads is reset my user Join date and my post count and they are currently working to see if they can talk to the network techs to see if they can restore anything else which might be a very server intensive project that they may not care much to do.

I ask for all of your help to find any old information regarding this thread and direct it to me at LarsonsRotary@gmail.com.

the main person who has been helping me to restore my stuff is Adrian Harris at internet brands. I believe he is the manager and can be reached at adrian.harris@internetbrands.com

thanks,
Jeremy Larson

Fwiw, I saw the prototype part in person a few weeks ago. It looks incredibly like the stock piece. This should be pretty cool when its done.

I'll take one. Do you think the aluminum handle will make the other plastic part more prone to breaking since the force from the pull will not be decreased by the flex of the original plastic part?

Just to make sure we're on the same page this GB is for the passenger side "Oh S***" handle/grip, not the door pulls used to open the doors.

But no, the part mounts directly to the door so it is very strong.

I'm VERY interested in this. I hate having passengers get in and pulling on the already broken handle
