Man I really want one of these kits. However, it looks like it will not work with a tow hook due to the passenger side lower front radiator mount. Is this correct? I have a Rennspeed tow hook and it mounts where that radiator mount is. ARGH!!!

No, the tow hooks remain intact and unmoved

Got it guys, thank you! Here is the current paid list-

1. renkenkyo ---- (n-flow radiator) PAID
3. Shetlen PAID
5. Turbo8 (a/c brackets included) PAID

2. sp_amend ---- (fluidyne radiator)
4. The Rush
6. blmcquig

Also if each one of you can post your full address on this thread, paypal does not include address on the "personal" payment. I know some of you included your address in the description, but redundancy never hurts

I'm not talking about the stock tie down hooks, I'm talking about an aftermarket tow hook that looks like it's mounted right where the radiator mount is. I'll take a pic so you can see what I'm talking about. If it will work, I definitely want one of these kits.

So much for adding to my investments LOL.

Here is what I was talking about. My tow hook mounts right where the radiator mount is I believe.

Ah yes, it does bolt where the intercooler bracket lies. Not a big deal though, give me a thickness measurement of that part, and we can build a modified passenger side mount. That way it will still work and bolt on for ya. It will be an additional $40 to do the modification.

I have the same rennenmetal tow hook as well I'll measure the dimensions for you as I might want this done for mine as well.

I got a FEED towing hook at the same spot as well.

I'll probably need the same modification...

That is cool Rush As for the tow hook, looks to be 1/4" thick steel? All I need is the thickness measurement, and the rest is easy. Sp_amend if you can verify your feed mount thickness as well that would be great!

I've measured the bracket. The part that the "eye" is on is 1/4" but the tab that bolts to the frame is only .188" - .190" in thickness. Below I have pictures. Let me know if this is what you need.

My FEED towing hook's tab area is 3/16"

Here's another FRIENDLY reminder: Please show us some pix of the hot pipe.

I just don't want to be the cause of delay in getting you started on this 2nd GB.

One other thing... I apologize for changing my mind but I now want the N-flow rad more than the Fluidyne. Is that possible? Sorry!

Once I hear from you about the rad and see pix of the hot pipe, I'll send the money.

Thanks a lot.

My kit came in yesterday, so I haven't had time to put it on yet. But here's a pic of the hotside pipe, straight to the stock twins (no efini pipe)

Thank you so much shmackle! I keep forgetting to take pics during the day at work. So much always going on to remember.

renkenkyo and sp_amend, that is perfect. I can make a "altered" bracket off those specs.

And Sp-amend, that is not a problem switching radiators. I was going to order your fluidyne once you sent a payment. So that is totally fine. Oh remember to subtract $126 off your kit total, because the koyo is cheaper.

So $1225 for kit, plus $50 for n-flow upgrade, plus the hotpipe/ ac brackets cost etc.
