AzEKnightz- I do understand completely. And I am the type of person who would do anything and everything to keep situations under control even if it means losing money. I couldnt change to another intercooler for two reasons.

1) the entire kit is based off a known size and type, all the parts for each kit are already made. The Jigs for all these individual parts are already made. So ONLY a intercooler of the exact size down to the 1/8th" will work. No other brands are this exact with what the kit is produced from. If I ordered in 4 different brand intercoolers, the amount of time to re-tool and re-make all those parts would take much longer than simply tracking down more of the identical brand/size intercoolers or waiting for them to be back in stock.

2) We are not a large company by any means, and our disposable income virtually doesn't exist. So remaking all those parts and buying additional more expensive intercoolers, which I would estimate to be about a $3k process, we simply do not have the funds to do. We have $450 left per kit after buying all the parts. It takes 6 hrs per kit to produce, which is $75/hr. Our normal labor is $85 per hour. This is not a excuse for taking a long time. I am just stating that the money is tied up in parts, not our pockets. I did track down the same brand from two different companies and did pay $75 more per intercooler because we did not get a bulk buy discount. That was the best we could do without total re-tool.

Both companies have told us the intercoolers were shipped wednesday. Have tracking for one intercooler. The other tracking was suppose to be emailed to me but I do not see it. Will be calling them monday to verify it was shipped wednesday.

Alright, sounds like you have a very legitimate reason for that. As a customer I respect that and I will wait patiently.

Dont mind me offering a suggestion. For future references, I believe all customer have the right to know or you should at least try and tell them the whole story where it is just not possible (well it can be done but it's totally not worth it when you lose way too much money than making from it) for a situation like this. That way the customer will try to understand and accommodate with you.

My apologies if I have somehow stir-up people's anger or started a "flame". I hope this will help clear things up and therefore you have one less thing to worry about.

Glad you were able to locate some of the intercoolers from another source. I hope the people on the GB list will be satisfied once they arrive at their door step.

I trust in you guys' work. Keep it up, I am sure things will become more smooth once this first GB takes off.

Sometimes its hard for me to post about a given internal issue, without sounding like a excuse. This is one of those times luckily that it helped the situation

Now Azeknightz, are you planning on using the stock fans?

And to ABC and Rawbz08 are you guys planning on using the stock fans?

We need to know, because I was informed out lower radiator outlet hits the stockers. Its not a issue and easy to fix. They currently will work great with a single 14" fan, and will have much more ground clearance. If you want to use the stock fans, naturally they are huge and the radiator outlet will be much lower as a result.

So let me know so I can update the radiators.

Yes, I do plan to reuse stockers. If they can be used that's great. Thanks!

so going with the stock fan setup are mounting points going to be added to the radiator so we can just bolt it on?

Yes they will bolt on. Will check again tomorrow there might be a corner that needs trimmed. Surprised to see everyone using stock fans. What is it about the stock fans that is so enticing? I guess the ground clearance being less to me is more of a big deal than using a nice single fan.

I think the stock fans push a larger amount of air and it also saves cost on buying another fan. I was wondering if the ground clearance issue also means you won't be able to fit a front splitter/undertray?

Currious as to that as well. I'll just notch my shine undertray if it calls for it. Or I'll have to move fwd with my AN hose setup sooner.

Is it really just a cost factor? http://www.jegs.com/i/Proform/778/141-644/10002/-1

$78 bucks, clean, slim and effective. This is the type of fan we run on all our in-house built v-mount setups. I definitely respect the choice to use the stock fans and am not pushing this on anyone, but if it was my personal car there would be nothing but a single 14" on it. Remember that once over 20 mph the fan is non-effective and only in the way of air-flow. The fan needs to keep the radiator cool at standstill. These 14" fans do that extremely well. Gains over 1.5" of ground clearance on a life-line fitting to the engine.

Last chance for anyone who did not want the outlet modified lower. They will be welded first thing in the morning....

If the splitter is at the height of the stock bumper bottom without any lip, then it might hit. If the splitter is lever with the bottom of the front subframe, then it should clear.

I would not recommend AN hose setup for a radiator on a rotary. Only time it will work is if the I.D. is 1.25" which is -20an to -24an. These fittings are massive in size.

Ok you've convinced me I'll jump on the bus of the unmodified radiator for a single fan.

At least I'll get to unpackage everything and get to set it in the pile of parts patiently waiting to get installed. While my car sits getting molested by the body and paint guy.
I'll be ordering that hood ducting for sure next week. Thanks I'm sure the wait has well been worth it.
