The guys at RX7.com did an awesome job with the rack mod. Between the rack mod, emissiones delete and a midpipe the turbos are moving so much air that I ended up doing a fuel system upgrade to keep everything safe. Thanks again for a great product.

The only thing I dont like about that is the fact that a big part of failure on the stock solenoids were due to heat. With this mod it moves them out of the heat which is a good thing. That puts them back in the heat.

My exact thought. BUT i know that these solenoids will work in high temp. just dont know WHEN it will causes the solenoid to go bad is the unknown.

Personally I really like the idea, but I prefer not to locate it right back under the UIM for personal preferences.

Good job to the guys at rx7.com and I am glad you are enjoying the solenoids are they are working flawlessly.

I do hope most 7 owners out there that still want to keep their 7s get this mod as it really changes the vehicle's performance(drive-ability), and reliability.

Lol the stock solenoids were suppose to work under high temp cases as well, but over say a 10 year period of driving the car regularly it still takes a toll. The newer solenoids are definitely an improvement over the stock and should be a lot more heat resistant, i just dont like playing with fire lol. It does look good though.

Thanks guys, the heat was my main concern also but my Chris Ott mentioned if the plastic factory ones lasted 20 years buried under all that stuff these heavy duty ones with the heatshield and the more open area should last just as long. One if his main reasons for the move was the instant response due to no 12 inches of vacum lines running back and forth.I believe the trade off was worth it. I'm happy with the way they turned out and the improve we have seen on the dyno so far. I appreciate Chris thinking out of the box, it's a great advantage working only ten minutes away. I should have her back this week, can't wait.

I have a good 3 ft of vacuum line between the solenoids and certain connections and the response is almost instant as well. The transition is almost nonexistant as well. Idk just my two cents, but the setup does look good.

I can understand that, thanks for the comments. I was not very sure when he first brought it up but now that it's done I'm very pleased with the results. It sure did clean up my engine bay of all those vacum lines, that's for sure.

prres4ever, dont feel bad about it. I am sure that it looks great and function great under the UIM. I am sure many would be happy to have the same set up. But not sure if they are willing to modify the UIM to accommodate that.

So what were the labor involve in making it fit? I am sure many would love to know. Thanks!

Thanks Eric, I'm happy with the results and the work. I was a little a bit worried at first went RX7.com brought up the idea but now I'm glad that I agreed to it. Once I get her back in a couple of days I'll post additional info.

****UPDATES****

Great news, our new and improved (well different fittings were used internally) to seal off potential "leakage" solenoid rack has been shipped and will arrive next week. Therefore guys expect no longer than a week and a half before these puppies arrive at your door steps.

-Cheers,
Eric Zheng

Thank you for the kind words. As I stated since the first GB, I will try to ship out within 4 week after last payment. So far I've came through with that with the exception of X-'mas that delayed about 1 week. However everyone has been satisfied with the solenoid =). Knock on woods! I will keep up the good work and make sure ALL of my customers are satisfied ^__^.

Also, I appreciated those that gave me positive feedback. I also did the same =).

Thanks all.

-Cheers,
Eric Zheng

*** UPDATES *** I was suppose to receive my packae either yesterday or today. However, I just received an email with an update stating that due to some "incident" that had happened with the shipping packages (probably an accident or something) my package was affected and delayed. It should arrive this coming Monday morning.

I apologize for this inconvenient, but I will get them out asap once they arrive. Thank you all for your patience.

-Happy Thursday!
