Question to all:

Currently I have about two customers that are interested in my solenoid rack BUT for their 20b and they are oversea. However, does anyone know the differences or similarity between the 13b sequential twin system compared to the 20b?

I cant find too much information on this topic. Might as well ask guys here on the forum to give me some leads maybe? Thanks all!

I have a question as well. If i'm not running emissions, do i need any of the solenoids or the metal part of the rats nest at all? or can i just throw that **** out and use your solenoids?

You can toss that ratnest and route them directly as shown in the vacuum diagram I provided. Have fun!

You still need to cap off some of the lines or you will have vacuum leaks, I had too!

You probably need to cap something, or have vacuum leak.
None of these solenoids relate to idle, really.

Double check the install, check you codes to make sure you didn't leave a sensor unplugged.

Checked everything. Somehow my throttle screw got backed out a bit lol. Its always the simple **** that you didnt even touch in the install that throws everything off haha.

Glad you had that figured out. I was about to say, it's either a vacuum leak or throttle air control valve needed to be adjusted.

Thanks for the help. I've been having limited access to the internet this week and lost my phone during my motorcycle ride to week last friday.

Glad TinMan figured out the issue.

Aww sucks to know that you cant work on your beloved 7. I hated that so much when I have other priorities.

No worries, once GB is mature, I will send out PMs to individuals on the list. So just keep an eye open for PM =).

Have a nice day!

Whats everyones vacuum look like on idle? I'm idling at 12inHg usually. Not sure if thats normal, but I cant seem to find any vacuum leaks anywhere. Sprayed starting fluid everywhere that there is suppose to be, use to be, is, or might be a vacuum line and the idle never increased so i'm guessing I have no vacuum leaks.

no hunting idle? Then you should be fine. Make sure you cap all open pipes.

Its funny. Sometime I expect the GB to fill up quickly and it doesnt. There are times that I dont expect it to fill quickly and it fill in more than expected and quicker than expected too!

Idle is nice and smooth at about 700. According to the PFC it ranges between about 695-705, but i figure thats fairly normal... Everything is capped no worries. Just making sure i didnt fudge something up.

I'm local. Do you happen to have your solenoid kit installed on your car? Mind if I come by and see it in person? I can drop off the deposit or whole amount as well.

Lol i've been road testing it. Even drag strip tested lol. I'm having the secondary boost bleed off at high rpms, but i think its a bad CRV. It did that before the solenoids too. I was hoping the solenoids would fix it though. Wishful thinking lol. O well its going in the garage next weekend to get tore down completely and rebuilt with an extreme street port lol.

Kevin,

My FD is in the paint shop. However, I had it installed on my friend's FD. I m pretty busy this weekend and so is the next week. Is there something that you wanted to see that's not in my build thread?

Awww, I am sorry to hear that. Yea, if the boost is bleeding off during secondary kicking in, I would check into that. Good luck !

Also, what's your impression compared with stock vs these solenoids?
