OMG!!! Car is super smooth!

Yes, the engine has just been rebuilt, but nothing else changed (performance wise) except for the ignition. I can't believe how smooth it runs.

I guess stock coils with 95,000 miles were prolly pretty far gone.

Thanks SBG!!!

More than happy to help! Are you running in direct fire or waste spark? While these coils are great on any car (especially high HP) I would argue that because of the design (built for high hp two stroke applications, which a rotary essentially fires like) these are THE best coils available hands down.

Enjoy! (and thanks for the kind words)

We are currently out of harnesses, but are making more as we speak (approximately two to three weeks out). I'm going to re-list them on the website as a pre-order. Let me know if you have any more issues ordering.

Just a heads up: The coil kit is part of our Black Friday / Cyber Monday discount. Ends tonight, so if there are any stragglers still left out there, enter SBGTHANKS at checkout.

Thanks for the support everyone and Happy Holidays.

On which component? We're still waiting on harnesses for the kits, though they should be finished sometime next week. Unfortunately most are pre-sold at this point, though there are a few left that are not spoken for currently. As far as the universal coil mount we should have that done late this month for custom mount/20b/RHD applications.

There were however with all of the pre-orders that came in we're once again cleared out before we have physical stock. We'll wait to make them available on the website until we have parts in hand this round.

All pre-orders that were placed are shipping this week, and you should (hopefully) now have a tracking number

I am in for the universal coil mount. I know there is debate about the stock location, but out of curiosity would that location work? I still run AC and PS on my 500HP fd. Want to keep that in place

These are much larger than the stock coils, I wouldn't recommend trying to stuff them under the UIM even if they would fit though I doubt they would

so is anyone doing 30min - 1hr track sessions with these coils? let's hear some feedback!

street or dynos don't really stress the coils but high rpm for prolonged periods is another story.

I got a set since everybody praises them (hype train) but I did some more reading and found out we're getting the leading coils to about 90% duty cycle (60% in direct fire) at 8000 rpm and the trailings to 60% at the most recommended settings.

I worry about burning leading coils during a track session in high rpm boost and maybe losing the engine! Comments?

I've wondered the same thing.

Anyone run this on a dyno with the waste spark config?

Would losing spark damage the engine?

I've already lost 2 leading coils due to incorrect dwell settings.

That did not seem to hurt the engine - worked OK after replacing the coils.
