if he's listed as being in modesto now then that makes me scratch my head further as to if this is that piece of **** who ripped everyone off the first go 'round. digitech7 already mentioned he and darren were friends, or at least knew each other...

not to dig up dirt on a possibly decent person but be careful before sending money to this guy.

if he's in modesto, at least he's already close to a few nice prisons nearby.

Actually im in Tempe, Az I was just in Modesto on business. No I'm not trying to dick anyone over, I just can't send or receive monies because paypal limited my account. (they said it was because I've been on the same IP as someone that has negative balance or fraudulent charge, basically they think I have two accounts when in all actuality I only have one.) I have never scammed anyone and don't plan to so choose your words carefully. My name is Brandon Curnow, I go to MCC in Mesa Arizona, anything else you want to know get at me. Oh ya and no one can pay for mounts till I figure this paypal shananagins

don't get all butthurt, you made a product that someone you personally knew ripped people off for. all i or anyone is saying is to be careful, especially if you might possibly be darren on a stolen account since no one knows how close of buds you might have been.

the anonimity of the internet is a wonderful thing for thieves, as you may know.

not my fault someone copped you out as knowing darren or for thinking it was a good idea to take on the same product line with similar design after all his bullshit. toss them up on ebay, they will sell there. but then again if it is a scam there is much more riding on your *** if it is.

i see what ben is saying, and it certainly made me question the validity of said transaction. ill tell you what, i have an outstanding rep on this site, when you are ready, send me one of the mounts, when it arrives, i will send the money. im good for it, and anyone will tell you that, plus, it will clear up any involvement with that scam artist

I'm local, and interested. Perhaps I could be of some help?

Question though, are they still aluminum? Or steel?

They look like steel to me, that looks like thick wall tubing cut in half for the "studded" section.

Like most FC owners, I'm cheap. I'm also just started college, so money is tight at the moment. I've been unable to shell out the cash for one of these ATM. I'd be more than willing to sample one out though, or even pay for the cost of material on one.

update: nothing is happening with this. I test fitted one out of the last batch on my friends s4 gxl the front ******* hole was drilled in the wrong spot and needs to be notched, it is still in my friends car with only two of the three bolts holds wonderfully. Luckily I only payed for the five to be put together. I still have the four left but I'm not selling them as I consider them inferior because they will need to be modded before fitting.

that sucks about the improper fab that got done

these do look great though, and i am seriously interested if you get the design figured out and start producing these.

on a side note: if you decide to throw in the towel, would you be willing to post some dimensions and your source for the bushings so others can try to make these? they look like a quality piece that really need to be available.

thanks bud

Since this is dead everyone might like to see our progress on a replacement mount.

Not to revive an old thread but we've built our own version of a better diff mount.

The inserts are interchangeable. The regular diff mount comes with UHMW inserts. They're stiffer than stock but still very streetable. We also offer Delrin and full aluminum inserts at an added cost. Check it out here.

at least Darren did do some good with his ideas for other people to use. too bad he had some skill, a little brain but too much ill will.

not too bad for less than the price of a stock unit. have you put it through it's paces yet?

We did strength testing in Solid Works when we originally designed it. As for real world testing we have at least a half dozen on the road in customer's cars across North America and so far everyone has been more than happy with it. We're confident in the design and quite happy with how they've turned out.
