When i start my rx7 in the morning to go to work, there is some white smoke coming from the exhaust. Its not alot but its enough to get me worried. I had an engine rebuild about 25000-30000 miles ago. I was wondering what this was caused by exactly and how can i fix it. Thanks

cause in the winter u can see the smoke come out of the exhaust

If it has a sweet anti-freeze smell then your engine is cooked. Blew a seal. If it doesn't smell and goes away quick and engine starts ok then its probably condensation in the exhaust. If you suspect the worst then have a mechanic stick an exhaust gas probe in the coolant. If there is exhaust gases detected in the coolant then a seal is blown.

If you only have 30k on the engine and never ever overheated it then it's probably just condensation. Good luck!

well I am in Austin tx and it was 70 degrees out today but oh well.

 

ok if it is white smoke on even a warm morning you probly have a blown coolant seal.

all rx7s ten to have there own degree of smoking, expecialy if it is cold. dont confuse condensation for smoke, to tell the defference smel for slight sweet smell as stated above!
