I got my 93 stock R1 going 158 mph with my friend in the car plus all are road trip gear. I think the car could have gone faster but their just wasn’t enough free road. We were on 35e northbound in MN....I haven’t seen a free stretch of highway like that since then.

150 on my bike. I know that isn't that fast but it was on a bike, and I had no helmet, so my eyes were watering, and my lips were wrapped around my neck. I will never do that again. (On a
bike!)[(This year!)] Hahaha.

I've been 155 in my 94 and it had more in it but I ran out of room. The only thing that I had on it was my exhaust at the time. I can't wait to see how well it will do after I get the new motor in it.

My speed!
I just had a brand new set of tires on my 87 GXL. I decided to take it out and see how good the balance on them was.
I made it to 130 mph with a headwind. I was impressed

RB down pipe
RB pre-silencer
RB Y-pipe with RB stainless mufflers (50mm)
KYB shox (4 postion on front)
KYB shox (8 position on rear)
RB springs all around
K & N intake with adapter
cold air box
platinum plugs
synthetic lube in tranny and LSD (90W)
Lovin' Drivin'
Big open roads + few cops= Montana= 161mph in my 93 r1, and I quit before it did. By the way it was on a very nice 12 mile STRAIGHT, where in my 23 years I've only ever seen 1 HP, my cousin.
Now wrecked (not because of speed either)
93 r1 red
apexi Afsc
down pipe
cat back exhaust
intercooler
intake
80,000 miles
Next
93 R1 red,but getting painted hopefully soon
getting as we speak:
intercoller
turbo rebuild
engine rebuild (Blown coolant seal)
apexi afsc
hks down pipe
exhaust (still undecided on what brand)
various gauges
intake (still up in the air on what)

Every once in a while I take my '86 NA up to 130mph (it's happens pretty easily). You know, racing some honda prelude or something and bye bye, oops, I'm at 110, well, lets just hold that throttle down a bit more . Still has more in it but I always back off there; my tires are only rated for 130.

Well I have had my truck up to about 125 + - 5 numerous times. I have to push past about 115 but it does it. Thats only got a 13B 4 port. I am running about 7500 rpm in 4th gear with that 4.625 rearend with only 4 gears so it gets a little loud. Oh and by the way the way your guys tire rating go they are rated to whatever speed they say they are for 8 hours streight. Thats the way they test them so as long as they have pretty good tread left (no wires showing like my friends T2) They can handle about whatever you throw at them for short periods, Tire ratings are no excuse for wusing out on top speed runs.

I hit about 140 +- 2mph trying to race a Vette on the merrit parkway. I didn't realize how fast I was going till I looked at the speedo...I dunno but she felt like she still had more in her! 87 Turbo II. Bone stock.

Banned. I got OWNED!!!
Today I have ONLY done 155 MPH on a short piece of raod on the way to my work.
With my limiter pegged at 8200rpm and 500bhp power level I have done 189 MPH on 5 seperate occasions.
With a rev limit of 8800rpm in top gear I have pulled 203 MPH once, and I was scared....it was bad when trying to slow down, or more so lifting of as I do not have areo dynamic aids on my car.
But yeah in total road tune, I can pull 189 MPH (305 kph) no problem at all.
First gen with 13BT, set up for road racing, road reg legal.

115 in the '92 Civic EX going uphill in 4'th gear, just about to hit the powerband, I quit because I didn't want to crest the hill and see a cop going "gimme your license".
125 in my '96 GS-R with 130k miles on it. I quit because I got scared, I don't want to die.
1 mph in my '79 (cause I don't have the motor, and I pushed it about 1 mph). It's getting a J-spec TurboII, and hopefully a cage so I can take it to the track on the days I don't feel like driving my '80 RX-7 SCCA car..
