started to change all the vacuum hoses on my FD today, and found this nipple is sitting there without anything connected to it. looked at the diagram and it is not on it. so, please someone tell me should there be a hose? if not, should it sealed?

 

anyone can ID it?

 

It's not a nipple. That's a set screw that controls movement of the plate inside the charge pipe.
