Water in engine

I had a 13 b on an engine stand and I put a tarp over it and it rained and the wind blew off the tarp a little water managed to get in. It’ll be a while before I get it running cause I don’t have hoses or bands on it and I’m waiting for money on a fuel pump so I’m imagining the water will start to rust the inside does this mean I have to open it up and rebuild it?

spray it with fogging oil and rotate it to get as much water out of it as you can, keep it dry, rinse and repeat for a few times a week and the water will evaporate and leave just the oil. tape off the ports this time to help keep water out.

Also turn it so the intake/exhaust side is pointing down and ensure you have spark plugs in it.
