Water in engine
I had a 13 b on an engine stand and I put a tarp over it and it rained and the wind blew off the tarp a little water managed to get in. It’ll be a while before I get it running cause I don’t have hoses or bands on it and I’m waiting for money on a fuel pump so I’m imagining the water will start to rust the inside does this mean I have to open it up and rebuild it? |
spray it with fogging oil and rotate it to get as much water out of it as you can, keep it dry, rinse and repeat for a few times a week and the water will evaporate and leave just the oil. tape off the ports this time to help keep water out.

Thanks! Glad to know I don’t have to open her up all over again. I was ready to die thanks so much |
Also turn it so the intake/exhaust side is pointing down and ensure you have spark plugs in it.
