Im not sure what tranny it is, It was bolted to a S5 TII motor. But the motor was in a 84 GSL-SE. So im not sure if its the FB tranny or what?

It looks like a N/A tranny cause the TII trannys have ribbed (for her pleasure) cases for more strength and support.

I've delt with alot of 1st gen trannys, and that's what it looks like. The person that put the T2 engine in the car just used the SE tranny since it would bolt right up. I'd bet that it's the original tranny for that car. Looks exactly like the tranny I put in my car, but it's from an '83 GSL.

Ah, that sucks. Anyone want to buy a GSL-SE tranny then. Last owner says it only has 1200 miles on it since rebuild.

Yeah, Maybe didnt think about that one. Is there any difference in a GSL-SE 5spd and a S4 NA 5spd.

I don't think there's much difference if any. Check out this site, I found it quite interesting.

Thanx, Looks like the GSL-SE trannies gears are shorter, which would compliment my car.

Looks like a 12a FB trans. My -se trans has a vent on the bell housing casted into it and so did my other -se trans I had.

The shifter won't line up in a FC. FC's have the shifter housing about a inch and a half farther twards the rear of the car. You can however swap a FC shifter housing on to the FB trans to convert it.
