Small Batteries

I dunno what the big deal is over small batteries.  Smaller batteries have less CCA and A/h ratings.  Unless you gonna trickle charge your car, stick with the same size battery for a daily driver.  You're trying to out-guess physics...

I thought about wiring two in parallel also but they do make a larger size that's closer to the orginal (or maybe the Miata). The brand name is Odyssey but I had to use a hockey puck to make it fit with the stock hold down bracket (too short).
If you really want it, get the kit from N-tech.com
or relocate kit from M2Performance.
That (pictured) battery is made for a Motorcycle and will not power your radio with the engine off!

Try DynaBatt made by Performance Distributers. They make stuff for muscle cars, but hey--it works!
I have their 14lb battery which is very small and can be mounted in any position. I think it's pretty cool and I've had it for over a year now.
Their web site is <http://www.jimcookperformance.com/PerfDist/>
Then click on DynaBatt 12v.
They do cost $155 though.

I ended up getting the battery for an extremely good price. I can't remember where I purchased it, however, I'll post it soon. The bill is there to give you an idea on the size of the battery.
