should i take off air pump for idle sound and performance? mine 88 na?
i saw many posts for air pump but i don't get it
if i take off air pump and put rubber cap to intake
is it make idle sound like brap brap brap?
and i still don't get remove air pump really matter HP? (performance)?
Im new here and just got 88 na convertable.
I wanna know and learn people please give me clear answer if yall know about this

Removing the air pump does NOT make it go brap brap, thats what a bridgeport does
Being your is a s4 you can remove the air pump if you want, but if you have emissions you can't, you'll fail visual and NOx
The air pump doesn't really do anything negative or positive, only plus side really of removing it from a s4 is to clean up the engine bay
S5 on the other hand you need the air pump for the 5th/6th ports to work
