shift beep wont turn off

shift beep wont turn off
it wont turn off for some reason. i was driging at 3k all night and it turned on and wont turn off. turnd the car off and back on and its still beeping. disconnected the battery and it still on. anyone know whats wrong here??

its an fc....plus my ecu is fried. could it be that. plus i have a bridgported motor. done from the bottome up. was made for drag racing. i have a huge koyo radiator and today since i still have the stock fan it was idling to long and i turnd it off and it started to cool off but was shooting out water. (no i dont have a leak). smelled like coolent but not the point. i drove home fine no overheating or nothing. it might be a wire hanging somewhere making contact maybe?? it started yesterday and no overheating or w.e . about the oil, sonce my ecu is friend its sending a mass amount of oil so it smokes like a bitch. i didnt know they had a buzzer for low oil but imma check that right now cuz the smoke was started to diminish and if thats the case im running out of oil.

well i just checked and i have NO oil.
i guess i burned it all. well thanks for all ur help guys
by any chance does aNYone know what oil to run on a bridgeported turbo motor??
i havent had the car for too long so i don really know. im guessing 10w30 is too thin. ???? help out guys

lol very true about winter. but that was the weight i was thinking but i really didnt know for sure. i remember it was about 40 degrees outside one night and since im not really used to that i was soooo cold i couldnt handle it ...

And yeah, if you can't tolerate 40 degrees then I can imagine you probably won't do much driving. I'd suggest sticking with 20w50 for now on and be mindful on the cold days.
Additionally, in case you're not aware, rotaries do consume oil by nature. I believe a healthy engine will burn a quart every 1000 miles or so. I'm not sure of the exact amount it consumes, but you should check your oil level at least every other fill up. It'd also be wise to check your other fluids frequently. You definitely don't want to overheat your motor, and sometimes leaks can spring up and you wouldn't know until the low coolant buzzer went off(like if your coolant seals start to wear down).

Well you shouldn't get on the throttle if it's colder than your car is tuned for. Check the third gen section, a guy from south Florida blew his motor for the same reason. https://www.rx7club.com/showthread.php?t=725533

well its not cold anymore. but im still gonna put 20w50. info helped alot. i heard they consumed oil but i didnt know how much to expect but my ecu is bad now so im sending too much oil and i burned it all up in 2 days. thanks for the help. greatly appretiated. u helped alot
