ight this is what it is, i blew my tranny in my fc and i wanted to do a turbo motor swap on it before this happen so do to money issues im just gonna do turbo motor and tranny in one shot,

now my question is im gonna install a 93 fd single turbo motor and tranny in to my 88, "Is the motor mounts the same or do i have to get some custom **** or order different mounts or does it bolt right in" any info is usfull

 

u need cutom motor mounts, check ebay they sometimes have them, and an s5 tranny is the same thing as a fd tranny so go with an s5 tranny.

 

if you don't already have that other engine, why don't you just buy one from one of those JDM importers? There are reputable companies. You could just get a s5 t2 engine, trans, ecu and harness (sometimes cut harnesses unfortunately) shipped to your for under 1000 bux.
