potential rx7 owner

i drive a eg and plannin to get an rx7 most probably in 07 summer..i have few qs

ive read the FAQS, avg. rotary motors would last 100k miles....i dont think thats a bad number coz its not gonna be my dailiy driver so a rebuild after every 4-5 years is not a bad idea....would it the motor still last 100k miles IF:

most times the motor is being run hard BUT not over-revd, never experience lean, proper tuning is present

would the motor last longer with the stock twins (i understand if the vacuum hoses r broken im dun with the stock twins but if i look after them n they r in perfect condition), single turbo or aftermarket twins like BNR stage 3s

i would wanna ultimately have 350-400whp, is it possible to acheive this # in NA form or is turbo the only way? in terms of 13b.....also once i go NA with like a HUGE streetport is jus better to buy the 2ndgen or fd would still be the better option and also once i go NA can i switch to a turbo sumtime down the road....

also, is it possible to protect the stock twins once the apex seals r broken like is there a sheild or sumthin out or sum indicator that the motor is gone

im also lookin for a high11-low12 sec. car....answers to these questions will highly influence the kinda rx7 i'd be getting in a few months

also, wuts the cost to keep the car running other than gas/insurance like regular maintainence as a non-daily driver with approx. 350-400whp with like either NA, or stock twins, aftermarket single or twin turbos.....

lastly, i know there are many other imports that go faster than rx7s but this car I think is the best lookin and ofcourse the prestige factor so thats my reason into pickin a fd....also, its MAD JDM....can't go wrong wit that...

Now stop WHINING!

You've gotta pay to play with these cars. You get lots of views and no replies because this has been covered about 2 million times in the 11 or so years this forum has been around. Guys like you come and go, just looking for another sports car to set yourself off from the group. I don't want to be an *******, but freaking search and freaking study before you even consider getting an FD.

troll or not, you still refuse to search or do research.

How is it I and countless others have managed to find in depth details on every question you've asked, while at least 3 times a day, newbs start the same ******* thread?

MPSDan, you know exactly what I'm talking about. Don't act like it doesn't bother you too.

No. You are not going to build a 350-400whp FD OR FC in NA form.... No, you cannot protect the twins on an FD (only RX7 with twins) if you lose an apex seal. It will probably trash the exhaust turbine. Yes a properly tuned single turbo is just as reliable as a properly tuned twin turbo. Hopefully this answers your questions. I also have another suggestion... Please take a typing/english class. It is very hard to read what the heck you are talking about.

If you are between an Teg type R and an FD... Do yourself a favor and buy the Teg. FD's are NOT for mechanically uninclined ppl and you will do nothing but become angry with the car. PLEASE BUY THE INTEGRA....

thank you for your response oo7arkman....that is exactly the kind of answer i was looking for....93vrtouring please try to be more considerate to s'newbies' on this forum we all have to start somewhere and we do make mistakes and if you realized i made a mistake asking a stupid question then jus say that please don't call me names because i can do the same and i really don't want that happening....i didn't know people were sensitive to grammer on the forum but ill try to more careful from next time

also, does anyone know the details of NHRA rotary monsters...especially those NA rotary monsters that can ran 10sec in the "honda all-motor" class...my questions originated after i saw those numbers...i know they use a MUCH lighter chassis and HUGE bridge-porting but other than that i don't know anything else.....the reason being im a HUGE fan of NA power so im curious
