Porting S4-S5 waistgate
I have heard that when you increase boost pressure, you will need to port your stock waistgate or you will develop boost creep which will eventually screw your motor.. does anyone know how to port the waist gate? is it somthing i could do at home and finish in liek a day?

compressor surge destroys your turbo. Boost creep destroys your engine.

Basically... once the turbo is out. Just take off the plate on the turbine side (3 nuts and 2 bolts)
Then you will have access to the wasgate flapper door. The wastegate actuator rod is connected to the flapper door by a little C clip. You can either push the rod to the side or disconnect the wastegate actuator from the turbo itself.
Then open the flapper door and keep it up (with tape or something)
Now, with mine it was simple.. because the wastegate left a nice ring around where it closed.. showing me where to port. If yours dosnt have this... i suggest maybe using some ink? something to put on the flapper door and press it against.. to leave the imprint.
Now, just get a rotary tool (I used a air type which worked awsome) and port away. The whole process (once turbo was off) took AT MOST 15 mins.
JUST BE VERY CAREFUL NOT TO OVER PORT!!!
