Ordering an engine from Japan.

Hi,

I live in The Netherlands and there aren't shops that sells used engines. I saw some in the US and they got the engines from Japan. I was wondering if you guys know any sites in Japan were you can order(used) engines.

I can get you some phone numbers if you are interested.
The last time I was in Osaka... I tore a couple of pages out of the yellow pages.... the ones with used engine wholesale distributors/exporters.

Or you can go with some of the Japanese tuners.

Eeh don't you have any e-mail adresses? I don't really speak japanese and the costs would be high to make such a call.

you type japanese better than you speak it? Otherwise an email address might not help too much.

I was under the impression that Japanese could read better English than they could speak?

Many of them speak English.... you guys have been watching too many movies. Most of these used engine / car wholesalers sell to Australia... so speaking English is almost a requirement. Although speaking even a small amount of Japanese is helpful.

By the way I tore the pages out of a the Osaka Yellow Pages written in English. If anybody else needs some numbers let me know.

I don't see why you couldn't get a 99 spec motor but I think that they would be rare.... maybe in a couple of more years.
