Oil pan bolt question
Tonight I was putting the oil pan on for my 8810AE rebuild and during finger tightening everything seemed great. I came back an hour later and during final torque of the pan bolts I felt a loss of resistance on one located in the front cover. I'm pretty sure that the threads have yielded so I left it alone and got the rest of the bolts (pan and mount) completed.
Do I have any options to fix this that don't involve taking the pan off and redoing everything? Is the pan rigid enough to still seal correctly missing the clamping force of one bolt? Thank you for any help you can provide.

Thank you for your help. I was thinking along the same lines regarding a longer bolt. The holes seem drilled/tapped much deeper than the bolt length. I have been searching for the answer as to the max length bolt I can use with no luck so far. I was going to buy some m6x1.0 bolts of different lengths to do some trial and error testing. Regarding the torque, I set the wrench at the high end of the range in the FSM. Maybe some caution on a used aluminum front cover would have been warranted in this case though.
