off the subject

ok here's the deal I wanna throw a rotary in an original mini cooper bu tI need a carberated rotary anybody know were I can get one or any other suggestions for me??

No factory carb's 2nd gens....perhaps a different section may be of more help.

If you have to go with carb, then you can refit a carb and intake onto a 13B.

most of the 12a's were carb'd i belive. Thoes are 1st gens,

Bad info


Ok first,find out what engine you want to run
12a 4 port/13b 4 port/ 13b 6 port

You can make ALL of these carbed,you can get a intake and injector plug kits for the 13b s

Its up to you what carb set up you want to do,I run a Holley 600 double pumper on a RacingBeat intake,eay to adjust,east to get parts for.

I'm not sure what motar to go with I'm think'n about about a 13b turbo bu tI'm not sure how much it'll cost to carb it cause I don't have much cash kinda work'n on a budget plus I still have to find a mini I can get a 13b turbo cheap from a friend but I'm new to the rotary but I know some basics

He'd need a blowthrough carb if he wants to go turbo wouldnt he, arent those a bit on the $$ side?

Ok first you was talking on what engine to use,now are you going NA/ or Turbo?

You need to decide yoru plans then ask questions..every thing will come like butter,a blow through carbed set up will cost some money,

The engines in the coopers are in the back right?

no there in the front the motor doesn't really matter to me wich one I just want the hp rating in the high hundred's or small two's I curently can get a 13b turbo cheap cause I just helped rip it out but it doesn't run or anything and not sure what's wrong with it either I'm hopeing to have about 2000$ for the motor
