newbie question:

what are the specs of a 1990 rx-7 gx? i don't know what gx is in the stats or overseas.... but in canada it's the base model. i read on an article that says the newer 2nd gen n/a models come w/ 160hp but my friend argues and says only the higher models such as gxl's gtu's etc had the better engine and the base model still had the old 149 hp engine. can someone please clarify this?

there was only one N/A engine for '89-91(92) and that was the 160hp version.
