Hey All,

I am thinking of upgrading the fuel system in my 1993 FD Rx7 but so far I have not been able to wrap my head around all this as I am very new to it.

I don't want to get a new fuel rail yet so after some research landed on "Injector Dynamics Injectors ID1050XDS FFE FD Secondary" https://fullfunctioneng.com/product/...ics-injectors/ which I believe should fit in the stock rail requiring a only a little modification. After reading up on it a little bit more it appears I need an adapter in order to connect those injectors into the stock wiring Harness. This is what I found (link is here) if these will work awesome! But if I'm way far off here someone please help and let me know!

Also, is this price for 1 or 2 injectors???

I am putting a hold on this until I do way more research. I am too new to wrap my brain around all things injectors and fuel systems. Thanks though!

 

welcome to the board.

not an FD owner, but i know some things. if i am not mistaken, your FD came with side feed injectors. the injector you linked in your post shows a top feed. you would need a top feed rail to use it.

as for the wiring adapter, the ID injectors are USCAR (aka EV6) connectors, so you are good on that end, but i'm not sure if the FD is Bosch or Denso. that would be easy to confirm with a photo though.
