Suitable replacement for stock Fuel Injectors?

I need some new injectors, but I don't want to pay the $300 that Mazdatrix charges per injector. They are worse than the dealership!!!!

Anyway, I don't really want to go to 720cc's yet, as I don't have the budget for 4x 720cc and 4x injector holder kits.

Any ideas?

Put 1000cc injectors in your secondary's if its a mild setup, you can modify the injectors to suit the standard fuel rail.. I did this to my Indy 1600's.

Good luck.

just get some Greddy 720cc for the secondaries. They are drop in and fit the stock fuel rail. If I remember correctly, they go for $120 new on the rx7store but you can easily get them used for cheaper.

And, what do I do about my Primaries? I have got a major flooding issue, and am going to start on it by replacing all of my injectors. This isn't necessarily for performance reasons. I wil be redoing my entire fuel system over the winter, so this is just for the next 3 months or so.

Have them rebuilt at any local diesel shop (most would be able to rebuild them and flow test them).

Yea, you can send them to RC engineering or many other injector rebuild shops and for about $25 or less (each), get them rebuilt. I did mine at RC abd they come back with a neat printout about how they were before and after cleaning.

the stock ecu is programed for the 550's,( ecu doesnt know what injectors are actaully there)
so if you drop in 750 the car will run REALLLY rich!

you will need a piggy back, or SAFC or somthign to control the fuel,

id recomend getting your injectors cleaned and blueprinted, 99% of the time injectors are just dirty, not damaged!

RCeng.com charges $24/injector for cleaning, balancing, before and after flow testing with the sheets to prove it.

if your injectors arent smashed or burned, do that.

if for some god-forsaken reason your injectors are unsalvagable, just order them from PTE. they have the best prices ive seen so far.

I sent my injectors to RC Engineering, and they cleaned, and flow tested them. Now they work GREAT!
