Mazda compression tester .

Hello !

I got my hands on a mazda compression tester , it looks straight forward to hook it up . If any inputs - pls post them up folks .

This is the process i use when using a regular tester , i guess the process will be the same for the mazda tester , only more accurate , and with 3 chamber readings .

# Engine warmed up , then stopped for a couple minutes .

# First crank engine with all plugs out and throttle open, to " clean out any helping/ seal improving oil etc , in the chambers.

# Fully charged battery

# All optional mechanical loads removed , as with the plugs in the " not measured rotor housing " .

# Attach power to unit , throttle fully open , crank the engine at the correct Rpm .

# Read out the respective rotors chamber values

# Switch rotor housing ( the same procedure again )

# Read out the respective rotors chamber values

Any inputs are welcome pls , specailly regarding the hook up process or the mazda tester .

Regards

Alx
