Looking for help to identify two vacuum lines

Hey all,

I was wonding if someone could tell me what these 2 lines are for and where should the hoses should head to. I have a feeling they are not going to the right place.

The 2 lines are located below the oil fill cap but they run along the motor. The right one is connected on a port on the intake which doesnt seem right.

Sorry the pictures arent great but i hope they still can be identified.

Thanks

I figured out the left line is the turbo oil feed that is secured to the block with a banjo bolt but can anyone tell me what the one highlighted in yellow is? thanks all

Believe it's the line the connects the primary turbo to the oil filler neck. Part of the PCV system

It's Passage 2 in the PCV diagram and connects the two red arrows in the vacuum diagram (they don't actually show the connection in the diagram)

Oh man, thank you very much. Not sure why they didn't include that in the drawing lol. What is its function?

Mine was routed back to the intake manifold instead of the oil fill neck. And i just looked the second port on the oil fill neck that is facing down has no line connected.

This has been great help

Read F-54 (the 1st diag) on the PCV operation if you're interested in it's function (which you should be). Basically, it allows a path for PCV if the intake is under positive pressure (i.e. boost). What most do (including me), is cap off the line to the UIM ("Passage 1") and tee in a catch can in "Passage 2" somewhere between the oil fill neck and the primary turbo (generally between the oil fill neck and that tube on the top side vs down by the turbo). This then becomes your primary PCV and will catch oil blow by before it gets into your intake. There's a lot on the forum on catch cans

I wouldn't directly connect the primary turbo inlet to the UIM (esp w/o a check valve). Not a huge deal, but you may loose a little boost and it wouldn't serve any purpose if it's not connected to the oil fill neck (i.e. no crankcase pressure relief)
