A Lil Help!!!!!

About a week ago I ran a SS and a STI of a dig 1st and 2nd perfect but when I would go to 3rd it would go in and grab but it would bog out bringing my rpm's down to @ 3,000 rpm at full throtle. Btw it's a third gen 7.HELP!!!!! Thank's......

**** I got a 3rd gen too and I have a single turbo with full supporting mods and at 5000 RPM on 3rd it boggs too? Then after I ran it at rock falls at the drag it sounds funny now.

Look's like i'am not the only one with that problem, when it happend I was like s**t I brooke something, but after i let off at normal drive it didn't do it from 1st to 5th nothing everything normal. Then we did it again, there it is again on 3rd it bog bringing my rpm's down to @ 3000 at full throtle.

Well she is on stock twins, new rebuilt motor with 3000 miles on it (btw everything under the hood has @ 3000 miles) 3mm apex seal's port and polished, fpr, new bonze clutch,fuel pump and filter, power fc, and a couple other things, here is a pic. https://www.rx7club.com/showthread.p...30#post6438130

Are you running the stock PFC map? I'm assuming you have stock injectors.

yep stock injectors, I was thinking the same thing not enough fuel, but she wasn't doing that when I first got her back neither on low or high boost. This just started about 2 to 3 week's ago, i have noticed it only happens when i do it off a dig. Do you think I might need bigger injectors? thank's.........

I would suggest getting a fuel pressure gauge and see if your fuel pressure is dropping off.

BTW, also check to make sure its not something silly like a loose spark plug wire/boot.

yeah i didn't think of that, that's what i need to do before I asume anything else check the fule pressuer and iam actually thinking about changing the plugs an wires maybe going with ngk racing spark plugs and go from there see what happens when I check the pressure and change plugs and wires.
