leaking break fluid at the abs hydraulic pump

I noticed when i got my car that the breaks were a little spongy. My friend and i automatically assumed that there was air in the lines. after i got it home the fluid was lower than when i took off from Denver. Then when i poped the hood a couple weeks later it was even lower. i checked by the wheels to see if the hoses were leaking and found nothing. then i followed the lines from the master cylinder and when i got to the abs hydraulic pump i noticed that it was covered in hydraulic fluid. i cant tell where or at which part of the pump it is leaking from. what should i do to find out exactly where its comming from in the pump, so that i will know what seals are bad inside.

If its not too terribly expensive, it would be better to replace the entire unit. I'm not doubting that you can't repair the old one, but its that extra piece of mind ya know? Don't want to take any chances with brake failure.
