Question How long does a BP 12a last..??

How long do Bridgeport 12a's last...under normal driving conditions and an ocasional race at the track...with regular maintenence..
3 Fans.
Racing beat everthing..

it really depends. i know of one guy who's running one everyday that has 75,000 on it right now. pulls hard and cranks right the hell up. depends on how well it's built and how you take care of it.

If it is a full bridge you need carbon apex seals and supposedly carbon seals only last for 30,000 miles or so? If it is a half bridge you can use steel seals which should last as long as a stock or street port?

I agree with FBII.
If you stay below 8500Rpm with a BP,you dont need carbon apex seals.It all depends how high you want to rev it.

My BP has steel seals,and it`s a Full Bp
