How long does a BP 12a last..??
 

How long do Bridgeport 12a's last...under normal driving conditions and an ocasional race at the track...with regular maintenence..

Just wondering..

it really depends. i know of one guy who's running one everyday that has 75,000 on it right now. pulls hard and cranks right the hell up. :D depends on how well it's built and how you take care of it.

If it is a full bridge you need carbon apex seals and supposedly carbon seals only last for 30,000 miles or so? If it is a half bridge you can use steel seals which should last as long as a stock or street port?

I agree with FBII.
If you stay below 8500Rpm with a BP,you dont need carbon apex seals.It all depends how high you want to rev it.
