Help, what goes in this spot

1999 FD 13B-REW

What goes in this open orifice just under the oil filler on the center iron. Mind you, i have deleted the rats nest and the Oil metering pump system.
I hope to figure this out, cus i sure a hell ain't running an engine with an open threaded hole in it just below the oil filler. as you can see i have a piece of a paper towel in that hole that is circled in the picture.

Let me know what goes there,
Thanks in Advance.

I took a look at my teardown images and I not only can't find any images of anything ever being there, but that hole definitely look like it hadn't ever had anything in it as it's covered in grime. But I'm not going to 100% swear by that either.

I stuck a probe in my rebuild and it and it's just a threaded hole about an inch deep. And my OEM crate engine had that open without tape. There's no access to the oil fill or anything like that from in there.

Very dangerous to use those costco roll-away shelves, btw. Tthe axles for the wheels can snap easy.
