Theoretically if you take the engine apart, remove the seals, replace your water seals, and then reinstall the rest of the seals in the exact same places that they came from in the exact same orientation, you'll be fine. Keep in mind you will still have an engine with the same amount of wear and mileage that you do now so you won't do anything for the longevity of it. The key to doing it this way is to keep everything where it is. Don't put an apex seal in another slot somewhere. Exactly the same! Keep in mind this way still isn't recommended but if you have no choice and can only afford a new water seal, then this is how you should do it. Be methodical. Don't try to port it or do anything else.

Get your existing motor rebuilt, preferably by someone who knows what they're doing. Jumping into the deep end of the pool and trying an engine rebuild without the proper tools and mechanical ability never ends well.

Rebuild it. O-ring kit. Front main oil seal. Rear main oil seal. 12 S6 corner seal springs. 12 corner seal insert rubbers. Front cover gasket. Pilot bearing and dust cap. I think that will set will you back about $300 provided nothing else is out of spec. Only way to know is to take it apart and check the wear surfaces.
