If your RX-7 is a 3rd gen ('93-'95) then it can sometimes be fixed by grounding the engine.

my rx7 is 94. I exmaine the stumbling rpm in 2nd gear. it was at around 1,800rpm, accelerating at 30mm??(I don't know exactly the boost unit below 0 bar) on Boost gauge.
in 1st gear, the stumbling rpm is at around 3,000. The acceleration depth(which I can see on the boost gauge) is exactly same with that in 1st gear.

yes I've heard that the problem was sometimes fixed by grounding the engine.
But what is grounding? My english is so poor that I can't understand. Could you explain it by easy words?
I guess grounding means making something still.
is that right?

Grounding is when you run thick electrical wire from the negative battery terminal to another part of the car. In this case, you want to run the cable to the engine. You can get a grounding cable at an auto parts store.

Soo Dong Baek, did you have the problem fixed? Let us know. Cause there are more than just grounding lead to engine stumble at mid rpm for 3rd gen also.
